Helicopter Tour Over Iguazu Falls

Because seeing the falls from ground level is amazing, but having a panoramic view of Iguazu from the air is a completely different story. This kind of experience literally takes your visit to the next level.

📍 The panoramic flight over Iguazu Falls is operated by Helisul and takes off only from the Brazilian side. The helipad is located right across from the Parque das Aves and next to the Iguaçu National Park. You don’t need to buy a park ticket to take the tour, since it’s located outside the park entrance.

The Cataratas flight lasts approximately 10 minutes, according to Helisul’s official January 2026 description. This is flying time, separate from check-in, waiting and boarding. The private Itaipu programme is a different option.

Check minimum passenger numbers, seating and luggage or participation requirements. The minimum group size depends on the aircraft and programme; confirm the requirement for your booking.

Right after takeoff, you’ll see the lush greenery of the national park. Just seconds later, a white mist appears on the horizon — it’s the waterfalls revealing themselves.

The feeling of flying over Iguazu Falls is a mix of excitement, awe, and yes, a little bit of that thrilling kind of vertigo.

From the ground they already look massive, but from above, the panoramic view of Iguazu is even more impressive!

You’ll be able to spot the walkways on both sides of the park. If you’ve already visited the Argentinian side, you’ll easily recognize the iconic Devil’s Throat (guide in Spanish). After circling this natural wonder, the helicopter returns to the helipad in front of Parque das Aves.

Helisul’s Visit Iguassu listing advertises opening daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm. These are published hours, not a guaranteed departure at any particular time: confirm check-in and weather-dependent operation for your booking. The listing gives no update date.

The helipad, Brazilian falls and Parque das Aves share the visitor-access area, but use separate entrances and services. Tell your driver that you need Helisul; transport sold for another attraction does not establish a stop there.
